  4. When I come around the other side on row 1, I’m coming up with more than 18 SC. What in the world am I doing wrong? Adorable pattern, btw!

    1. Hi Nicki, thank you for your comment! So for Round 1 when we chain 21. We will single crochet a total of 3 times into the 2nd chain from the hook (so we’ve used up 2 chains so far). Next, single crochet in the next 18 chains (we’ve used a total of 20 chains so far). Now we will have one chain left on this side. Single crochet 3 times in that last ch (we’ve now used all 21 chains). Now we work on the other side of the chain. So single crochet in the next 18 stitches.

I hope explaining it that way can help you follow along as your crochet! I’m thinking maybe you messed up when we do the 3 single crochets in the last chain?
If you have any questions or need clarification please feel free to let me know 🙂 Thanks so much and I hope you enjoy this pattern!

  6. I loved this pattern. It reminded me of a childhood stuffy I had. I did it in more realistic colors and it turned out great. Will definitely be making more of these.

  7. As the lady asked back in 2020. How can I print this pattern. I can’t take my laptop everywhere I go to be able to make this pattern. I don’t want to buy a pattern that people say is free but you can’t print. So why can’t I print the puppies.

  8. Love this project and your website! Thank you for the pattern!😄
