Face Shaping:
In Cream Yarn
Now we will shape the face. The pictures below show how to do this with another toy, but the instructions are all the same!
Take a long piece of grey yarn and place it onto a needle. Insert needle into the bottom of the toy‘s head (Pic 1). Pull needle out on the right side of the toy‘s right eye (Pic 2). Reinsert needle to the left of the toy‘s right eye (Pic 3). Pull needle out one stitch to the left of the original insertion spot (Pic 4). Reinsert needle one stitch to the right (Pic 5). Pull needle out at the right side of the toy‘s left eye (Pic 6). Reinsert needle to the left of the toy‘s left eye (Pic 7). Pull needle out where the tail of yarn is coming out of (Pic 8). Pull both ends of yarn at the same time to tighten the face shape (Pic 9). Tie the ends of yarn into firm knots. Bring the knot inside the toy to hide. Cut any excess yarn. Done!

Embroider the nose in pink now.
Smile:
In black embroidery thread
Insert needle with thread into the right side of the toy’s face as shown (Pic 1). Reinsert needle as shown (Pic 2). Pull needle out at the middle of the toy’s face, making sure the needle lands ABOVE the thread (Pic 3). Reinsert needle into same area, making sure the needle lands below the thread (Pic 4). Pull needle out where shown (Pic 5-6). Pull needle out at the right side as you did on the left side. Done! (Pic 7).

Is the head accurate? I did the ten rows in the green and it was a giant oval, not head shape. Can you clarify?
Looks like there was a typo, I just skipped rounds 15-19 and it turned out the right shape.
This looks amazing!
