Supplies:
4mm crochet hook, 4/Medium weight yarn in skin color, hair color, white for toga, pink for bag, red, and yellow. 9mm safety eyes, tapestry needle, scissors, and stuffing.

Additional Information:
Difficulty: Easy
We start by making two legs, which we then crochet together. We then form the body, then the head. The legs/body/head are all worked together as one piece. Then we make the arms, wings, bag, arrow,bow, and finally the facial assembly!

Feet: (Make 2)

In Skin Color

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: Sc in the next 5 st. *Inc* in the next st. Sc in the last 6 st (13)
Round 4-5: *Sc* all around (13)
Round 6: Sc in the next 4 st. *Dec* 3 times, Sc in the last 3 st (10)
Round 7: Sc in the next st, *Dec* 4 times, Sc in the last st (6)
Round 8: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 9: *Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 5 st* 2 times (14)
Round 10-12: *Sc* all around (14)
Round 13: *Dec* 4 times, *Inc* in the next 4 st, *Dec* 1 time (13)

Finish off first leg only here and keep the stitch marker in the first leg for now. DON’T finish off the second leg here. Continue on the second leg with this following round:

Round 16: Sc in the next st (Pic 1). Ch 2 (Pic 2). Now take the first foot and count 8 stitches BEHIND the stitch marker (Pic 3). Sc in that 8th stitch (Pic 4). This connects the legs together.

Round 5: Sc in the next 4 st. Now do 3 Dc in the next st. Remove the hook from the current st, and reinsert hook into the first Dc made (Pic 1). Now also insert hook into current working stitch (Pic 2). You will now have 2 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through both loops (Pic 3-4). You have just made the thumb. Now Sc in the next 4 st (9)

Round 6-7: *Sc* all around (9)
Round 8: *Dec, Sc* all around (6)
Round 9: *Inc* all around (12)
Stuff hand here
Round 10-17: *Sc* all around (12)
Stuff arm here
Round 18: *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off. Pin arms on as shown and sew on.

Toga:

In White

Row 1: Ch 50. Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 48 st (49)
Row 2-7: Turn, Sc in the next 49 st (49)
Row 8: Turn, *Dec, Sc 5* 7 times (42)
Row 9-11: Turn, Sc in the next 42 st (42)
Finish off. Pin on as shown. Sew the toga together at the back, then sew onto the doll.

Wings: (Make 2)

In White

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc* all around (18)
Round 4: *Inc, Sc 2* all around (24)
Round 5: *Inc, Sc 3* all around (30)
Round 6: *Inc, Sc 4* all around (36)
Round 7: *Inc, Sc 5* all around (42)
Now fold the piece in half (Pic 2), making sure the stitches line up (Pic 3). Now single crochet the stitches together down the wing. Finish off.

Pin on as shown and sew on!

Bag:

In Pink

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc* all around (18)
Round 4: In BLO (Back Loop Only), *Sc* all around (18)
Round 5-15: In BOTH Loops, *Sc* all around (18)
Switch to White
Round 16: *Sc* all around (18)
Round 17: Sc in the next st. Ch 15 (Pic 1). Count ahead 9 stitches and Sc in that 9th stitch (Pic 2).


Finish off and weave in the ends.

Hearts for arrows: (Make 2)

In Red

Round 1: Make a Magic Ring. Ch 3, Make 3 Trc in your Magic Ring. Dc 2 in Magic Ring. Trc 1, Dc 2, Trc 3. Pull string to shut. Ch 3 and SlSt into Magic Ring.
Finish off. Place the hearts together (Pic 1-2) and sew them together (Pic 3-4). Insert stick with glue to secure, in the middle of the heart before fully sewing closed.

Arrow Tip:

In White

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2-3: *Sc* all around (6)
Finish off and place stick with glue into arrow. Sew arrow closed around stick.

 

Bow:

In Yellow

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2-15: *Sc* all around (6)
Finish off, but leave along tail of yarn. Sew the end closed. Pull this piece of yarn from the top (Pic 1) and reinsert it to the bottom as shown (Pic 2). Pull this yarn to bend the bow (Pic 3). Tie a firm knot and weave the yarn into the bow.

Pin the bow on where shown and sew on.

Hair:

In Yellow

First, cut ~6″ piece of hair colored yarn and set aside. Insert hook into the forehead area, having about 2 stitches on the hook (Pic 1). Take the yarn and place it on the hook (Pic 2). Pull this yarn through the area as shown (Pic 3-4). Yarn over (Pic 5), and pull the yarn through the loop entirely (Pic 6). Tie a knot with this yarn a few times to secure. Now brush this hair out for a fuzzy look if desired.

Nose:

In Skin Color

Sew between the eyes, going from the left to the right side, to form the nose.

Smile:

In Black Embroidery Thread

Insert needle with black embroidery thread where shown (Pic 1), and pull out where shown (Pic 1). Insert needle into the original insertion spot (Pic 2), and pull needle out of the opposite side as shown (Pic 2). Reinsert needle into the middle of the mouth, as shown (Pic 4). Weave in ends. Done!

Eye Whites:

In White

Insert needle on side of face, and pull out on the top right corner of the eye (Pic 1). Reinsert needle into the bottom right corner of the eye, and pull needle out on the top left corner of the eye (Pic 2). Reinsert needle into the bottom left corner of the eye, and pull out of the very original insertion spot (Pic 3). Tie the ends into a firm knot and weave in ends. Done!
