Great Pattern

I’ve made two of these cheeky chaps for a Jubilee display. I found this pattern easy to understand and quick to make. I modified it slightly by giving my dogs a tail, as tails are no longer docked here. I also used a thicker yarn (Re;treat by West Yorkshire Spinners) and larger hook (5.5mm) as I wanted them a bit bigger.

Finished size needed

I am still making this dog. It’s quite easy to follow the pattern but as others have said, it is coming out much bigger than I expected. It would be helpful to include finished dimensions on the pattern. It’s very cute though and will make a great Jubilee gift.

Easy to follow very effective

Totally adorable

Fun, easy pattern. I used regular worsted weight yarn, think it would've been better with 100% cotton or amigurumi-specific yarn but great no matter. Pictures are really nice, helps a little to see what you should be doing. My guy is about 6" tall (legs to ears) and 8" long. I didn't put a tail on, because my Corgi doesn't have one. The butt is the best part ^_^

Simple Pattern, but Larger than Expected!

This was an easy pattern to follow, I wish it would have the dimensions of the finished corgi, though! Made for a friend and it came out to be like 4x larger than I imagined it would be 😳. But all in all, a cute little dog!
