2.
Reinsert needle to the left of the toy‘s right eye (Pic 3). Pull needle out one stitch to the left of the original insertion spot (Pic 4).

Right Arm:
In Grey

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc, Sc in the next st* all around (9)
Round 3-7: *Sc* all around (9)

Round 10-14: *Sc* all around (9)
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the arm. Pin the arm onto the mouse where shown. You can wait to sew it on if you’d like. This is because we want to make sure the arm holes of the wizard’s robe will fit over the arms correctly, so it’s best to make the robe, place it over the pinned-on arms, just to double check that your arm placement is correct.
Left Arm:

Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the arm. Pin the arm onto the mouse where shown. You can wait to sew it on if you’d like. This is because we want to make sure the arm holes of the wizard’s robe will fit over the arms correctly, so it’s best to make the robe, place it over the pinned-on arms, just to double check that your arm placement is correct.
Take a piece of grey yarn and insert it where shown (Pic 1) and pull needle through.

Robe:
In Purple

When doing the rows for the robe, I do not chain 1 when I turn. This is because by not chaining one, the edges of the robe will be much smoother. To have smooth edges, do not chain one. Simply make your last stitch in the row fairly tight compared to your other stitches, then turn (no chain 1), and before you make the first Sc in the next row, have the loop on your hook be slightly looser than usual.
Row 1: Ch 51. Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in the next 49 st (50)

Hot glue a star gem to the end of the wand, then sew or hot glue the wand to the toy’s hand. Weave in ends and cut any excess yarn.

Stars: (Optional)
In Yellow

The wizard robe and hat will have gold stars on them. You can use any type of gold star for this, small star gems or star studs would work best if you hot glued them to the toy. I couldn’t find any in craft stores, so I cut three small 0.5″ stars out of glittery gold construction paper and hot glued them to the toy’s hat and robe. I cut one larger 1″ star for the hat.
Whiskers: (Optional)
In White
Whiskers can make this mouse look extra cute. You can cut pieces of fishing wire for the whiskers and place a dot of hot glue on the whisker before you insert it into the toy.
Done! If you made this wizard mouse, I would LOVE to see! You can show me by posting a picture in the comments underneath this post 🙂

The instructions for the head are the exact same as the body. I have made so many of your patterns, but with this one I’m absolutely lost.
She’s correct. You have the body instructions for the head.
the pattern for the head isn’t there it’s just the body
Didn’t see the instructions on where to place the eyes Still trying to work on it, got to the roe section, will post a picture when completed
You copy and pasted the body pattern into the ‘head’ pattern spot. There is no row instructions for eye placement. On the sleeve pattern, the count on round 4 is 18, there are 4 decreases, but you still have the count for round 5 to the end at 18 instead of 14. What happened? Did you use AI to post this pattern? This sloppiness is totally unlike your other patterns, which I have enjoyed doing.
Thanks so much for posting the real head instructions! 😀
This was such an adorable pattern, and I had so much fun making him. I don’t usually post, but I had to share the outcome because your pattern is just so wonderful!
So I’m not sure if the problem is me, but row 15 has not been working out. I counted 14 and had the correct stitch count (39) and I can’t make it around with all the stitches in the pattern. I’m left with 30 stitches before the end, and there isn’t even enough for me to be able to do the last bit of repeat in the row. I’ve torn the row out, recounted and retried like 7 times by now and nothing has changed.
