  1. What is inc?

    1. Hi Sue! Inc means “increase”, so to make an increase you will make two single crochets into the same stitch 🙂

  2. How many ch stitches make the magic ring?

  3. When you say increase 2 stitches from 18 then you say 24 all around. Why isn’t it 20?

    1. That’s because if you are going in the pattern inc, sc, sc, which is 4 total stitches, and you do that 6 times, you get 24 stitches. An inc is 2 sc in the same stitch

  4. What type of yarn is best to use?

  5. cotton or acrilic

  6. Exactly how many yards of yarn would be used in making this pattern? I’m trying to put together a little kit for our Girl Scouts to teach them to crochet and I wanted to measure out the yarn for them so they each get a little kit of their own with the instructions and everything they need.
