• Yarn 4/Medium Weight Yarn in…
Cream color
•4mm Crochet Hook
•Tapestry needle
•Scissors
•Stuffing
•6mm safety eyes
•Black Embroidery Thread

These cute egg rolls are the perfect quick project! They are super easy to make and will bring a smile to anyone’s face! This pattern uses very simple stitches and minimal sewing.

Egg Roll:

In Cream Color

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc in the next st* (18)
Round 4: Working in the FLO (Front Loop Only), Hdc in each st all around (Pic 1-2) (18)
Round 5: Working in the back loop we left in Round 4, *Sc* all around (Pic 2-4) (18)

1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Round 6: *Sc* all around (18)
Now we will mark where to place the safety eyes. Add a different colored stitch marker into the 6th and 8th stitch in Round 6. Later we will replace these markers with safety eyes.
Round 7-19: *Sc* all around (18)
Add the safety eyes into the marked areas now.
Round 20: Working in the BLO, *Dec, Sc in the next st* all around (12)
Stuff the toy firmly now.


Round 21: Working in both loops, *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the remaining stitches closed and weave in ends. Cut any excess yarn.
Attach your hook into the front loop we left in Round 20. Yarn over with cream yarn, then make 1 Hdc into each stitch all around. Finish off and weave in ends.

Wrapper:

In Cream Color

Row 1: Ch 2. Inc in the 2nd Ch from the hook (2)
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next 2 st (4)
Row 3: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 2 st, Inc in the next st (6)
Row 4: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 4 st, Inc in the next st (8)
Row 5: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 6 st, Inc in the next st (10)
Row 6: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 8 st, Inc in the next st (12)
Row 7: Ch 1 and turn. Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 10 st, Inc in the next st (14)
Row 8-9: Ch 1 and turn. Sc in the next 14 st (14)
Row 10: Sc around the edges of the wrapper. Make 2 Sc into the tip for a defined edge, then continue making 1 Sc along the edge. You do not need to crochet along the top of the wrapper where we made our last row. Once done, finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Pin the wrapper on as shown and sew on. Once done, weave in ends and cut any excess yarn.

Insert needle into the middle area of the toy as shown (Pic 1) and pull needle out at the left of the toy’s eye as shown (Pic 1).

Reinsert needle into the middle of the toy (Pic 2) and pull needle out next to the toy’s right eye (Pic 2).

Reinsert needle into the middle of the toy as shown (Pic 3) and pull needle out nearby. Tie ends of thread into firm knots and bring knots inside the toy to hide. Cut any excess yarn.
