This week I have a free eggplant amigurumi crochet pattern for you! I’ve been wanting to make an eggplant for a few months, and it was hard to find the perfect shade of purple. I was originally going to use a dark shade, but ended up using this lavender shade. This pattern is really easy to make, and goes pretty quick too! I had a lot of fun making the leaf part, and it was really easy to sew those on. If you’re not the best as sewing – no worries! I have a tutorial in the pattern showing you exactly how to sew on the leaves.

I would love to start making even more vegetables, let me know if you have any suggestions! Up next I’m thinking corn or tomatoes would be cute. Eventually I need to make an onion pattern too 🙂 Have fun with this pattern, and as always, feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions!

Print this pattern out! Purchase the PDF here!

Getting started…
To make this eggplant we’ll start at the very top of it and work our way down to the larger part. After making the eggplant we will make it’s top leaf, then the stem!

Note
It was hard for me to pick the best shade of purple, but I liked the lavender purple best. You can pick any shade, darker purples are more realistic!
