• Before we get started…
These candy corns are really quick and easy to make! They turn out mini if you use the recommended yarn, however, they also turn out great (and bigger) in blanket yarn 🙂

• Let’s Get Started!
We will start by making the tip of the candy corn and work our way down to the bottom. After we finish making the candy corn, we will continue to make the smile! After the smile, we’re all done! No sewing (besides the smile) is needed, making this a super easy pattern.

Let’s get started!

Candy Corn:

Start in white

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Sc* all around (6)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc* all around (9)
Round 4: *Sc* all around (9)
Round 5: Change to orange. *Inc, Sc 2* all around (12)
Round 6-7: *Sc* all around (12)
Round 8: Change to yellow. *Inc, Sc 3* all around (15)
Now we are going to mark where to place the safety eyes with stitch markers. Add a stitch marker into the 6th and 8th stitch of Round 8.

Round 9-10: *Sc* all around (15)
Round 11: In the BLO *Dec, Sc 3* all around (12)
Add eyes into the marked areas now. Stuff here.

Round 12: In BOTH loops *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew the remaining stitches closed.

Smile:

In black embroidery thread

Insert needle with thread into the middle area of the candy corn (Pic 1) and pull the needle out next to the candy corn’s left eye (Pic 1). Reinsert needle into the original insertion spot (Pic 2) and pull needle out next to the candy corn’s right eye (Pic 2). Reinsert needle into the original insertion spot (Pic 3). Weave in ends.

  1. On round 8 it’s says 18 sts but I keep getting 15 sts? Is I just me or is the pattern wrong? Thank you!

    1. Hi Trinity! I’m so used to increasing in increments of 6 so I usually type 18 on that 3rd increase LOL! I corrected it to the 15 stitches 🙂

  2. Adorable!!! I love this cute little candy corn . Thanks

  3. I made at least two dozen of these guys in October and gave them to my students and neighbors for Halloween treats… in addition to some real candy 😉
