Hey everyone!

I wanted to let you know that StringyDingDing has a new logo. My previous logo was a pink alpaca, nothing too remarkable. Here’s a picture for reference:

I made that logo 2 years ago when I first started StringyDingDing. At first StringyDingDing wasn’t really a “thing”. I didn’t plan for it to become as big as it has been in my life. I feel like my logo kind of reflects that 😅 Aaaand about 130+ PDF pattern designs later, I’ve learned a little bit when it comes to graphic design. That definitely meant I was ready for a logo redesign 🙂

So I was thinking… what do I want my new logo to look like? As it stands, I feel like my website looks like every other website out there… and my logo, too. I love retro design a lot, so that was one thing I wanted to include in my new logo. Also, one thing I love about crochet is the selfless and incredibly kind community. I talk to so many crocheters who love to crochet things for others. That’s why in my new logo I have those 4 little dudes holding hands; it’s us crocheters coming together to do good for others!

I truly hope you like my new logo that I put together. Does it look like it could actually be retro? I tried hard to make it look as authentic as possible in terms of the design. (Even added some noise to the photo for that “printed on paper” look).

I’ll also be updating StringyDingDing’s website soon. I’m planning on continuing with the retro design. So if you have any friends that may know of this website, let them know about the redesign! I don’t want to lose any of you awesome crocheters if you think StringyDingDing went away – when in reality it’s just a redesign LOL!
