Information Before Starting

Supplies:
6 mm Safety Eyes, Tapestry Needle, Scissors, Stuffing, and Pins
Crochet Hook in Size: 4mm
Yarn in colors: Tan, Brown, Orange, Purple, and Pink.
Stitches Used:
Sc, Dc, Trc, Slst, Ch, Magic Ring.

 

Toast (Make 4)

Row 1: In Tan, Ch 17 and Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 15 ch.

Row 2-15: Turn, don’t ch 1, Sc in next 16 st across

Row 16: Turn, Sc 1, Dc in next 2 st, Trc in next st, 3 Trc in next st, Trc in next st, Sc in next st, Slst in next 2 st, Dc in next st, Trc in next st, 3 Trc in next st, Trc in next st, Dc in next 2 st, Sc in last st.

Attach brown yarn and sc around entire toast. When reaching the two Slst we made at the top of toast, slst in the same 2 slst. Continue sc around rest of toast.

Set aside for now.

Jelly/Peanut Butter

Note: Don’t use too dark of a purple color. If you do, you may not see the safety eyes or smile very well on the jelly sandwich.

Make 1 in Purple, Make 1 in Orange

Round 1: 6 Sc in magic ring (6)

Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)

Round 3: *Inc, 1 sc* all around (18)

Round 4: *Inc, 2 sc* all around (24)

Round 5: *Inc, 3 sc* all around (30)

Round 6: *Inc, 4 sc all around (36)

Round 7: Sc 1, Dc 1, Trc 2 in each of the next 2 st, Dc 1, Slst in next 4 st, *Dc in next st, Trc 2 in next 2 st, Dc in next st, Sc in next st, Slst in next 4 st,* 2 times. Dc 1, 2 Trc in each of next 2 st, Dc 1, sc in next, Slst in next st, 2 Dc in each next 2 st, Slst in last st. Finish off.

Pin Jelly/Peanut Butter to one slice of toast and sew on.

Now add safety eyes, smile, and blush. Refer to pictures below.

Legs

In tan, make 4. 2 for each sandwich.

Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Round 2-6: *Sc* around (6)

Finish off and stuff

Arms

In tan, Make 4. 2 for each sandwich.

Round 1: 6 Sc in magic ring (6)

Round 2-9: *Sc* around (6)

Finish off and stuff

Assembly

Place two slices of toast together. Now place and pin legs and arms inside the two slices of toast. With brown yarn, sew toast/arms/legs together. Stuff toast lightly when sewing closed last side.

Yay! All done!

    I just wanted to double check- For R 16 of the Toast, do you mean to DC after the first TC 3? (Instead of another TC). It’s a big jump down to a SC from a TC.
