• Yarn 4/Medium Weight Yarn in…
Dark brown, brown, white, and red
•4mm Crochet Hook
•Tapestry needle
•Scissors
•Stuffing
•10mm safety eyes
•Black Embroidery Thread

Soy sauce is one of the tastiest sauces out there, and its iconic bottle will give anyone who sees this amigurumi a chuckle! This pattern is quick and easy to make, and pairs amazingly with my other food patterns!

Soy Sauce:

Start in Red

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc in the next st* all around (18)
Round 4: Working in the Back Loop Only (BLO), *Sc* all around (18)
Round 5: In BOTH loops, *Sc* all around (18)
Round 6: Repeat *Dec, Sc in the next st* all around (12)
Round 7: *Sc* all around (12)
Round 8: Change to white. Working in the BLO, *Sc* all around (12)
Round 9-11: Working in BOTH loops, *Sc* all around (12)
Round 12: Repeat *Inc, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (15)
Round 13: Change to dark brown. Repeat *Inc, Sc in the next 4 st* all around (18)
Round 14: Change to brown. Repeat *Inc, Sc in the next 2 st* all around (24)
Round 15-16: *Sc* all around (24)
Round 17: Repeat *Inc, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (30)
Round 18-28: *Sc* all around (30)
Round 29: Working in the BLO, repeat *Dec, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (24)
Stuff firmly now.
Now we will make the bottom sit flat. Get a small piece of cardboard and place the soy sauce on top of it (Pic 2). Trace around the bottom (Pic 2), you will have a circle (Pic 3). Cut the circle (Pic 4), then place it into the soy sauce (Pic 5).

Round 31: *Dec, Sc in the next st* all around (12)
Round 30: *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the remaining stitches closed and weave in ends. Cut any excess yarn.

Insert needle into the middle area of the toy as shown (Pic 1) and pull needle out at the left of the toy’s eye as shown (Pic 1).

Reinsert needle into the middle of the toy (Pic 2) and pull needle out next to the toy’s right eye (Pic 2).

Reinsert needle into the middle of the toy as shown (Pic 3) and pull needle out nearby. Tie ends of thread into firm knots and bring knots inside the toy to hide. Cut any excess yarn.
