Information before starting:

Use 4.00mm hook, 6mm Safety Eyes, Stuffing, Scissors, and Tapestry Needle

Use light green yarn, dark green yarn, skin color, black, yellow, white, and orange

Stitches Used: Magic Ring, Sc, Inc, Dec, BLO, Dc, Trc

Body

In light green, we start at the bottom and work to the head.

Row 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Row 2: *inc* all around (12)

Row 3: *sc, inc* all around (18)

Row 4: *2 sc, inc* all around (24)

Row 5: *3 sc, inc* all around (30)

Row 6: *4 sc, inc* all around (36)

Row 7: *5 sc, inc* all around (42)

Row 8: *6 sc, inc* all around (48)

Row 9: *7 sc, inc* all around (54)

Row 10: *Sc* around in BLO (back loop only) (54)

Row 11-13: *Sc* around (54)

Row 14: *Dec, sc 7* around (48)

Row 15-16: Switch to black, *sc* around (48)

Row 17-18: In light green, *sc* around (48)

Row 19: *dec, sc 6* around (42)

Row 20-23: *Sc* around (42)

Row 24: *dec, sc 5* (36)

Legs (Make 2):

We start by making the shoes, then work up to the leg

Row 1: In black, 4 sc in magic ring (4)

Row 2: *inc* all around (8)

Row 3: *inc, sc* all around (12)

Row 4-7: *sc* around (12)

Row 8: Shoe Heel: Sc 6, don’t ch 1, turn, Sc 6 across, turn, sc 6 across. sc in next st, add new st marker to sc you just made and remove old st marker. sc in next 5, sc in next st which is the top of the heel we made. This now creates the shoe. sc in next 5. (12)

Row 9-10: Switch to white, *sc* around (12)

Row 11: Switch to orange, DC around (12)

Row 12: Switch to white, DC around (12)

Row 13: Switch to orange, DC around (12)

Row 14: Switch to white, DC around (12)

Row 15: Switch to orange, DC around (12)

Row 16: Switch to white, DC around (12)

Row 17: Switch to dark green and *sc* around in FLO (front loop only) (12)

Row 18: Switch to light green and *sc* around in BLO (back loop only) of the white row (12)

Row 19-25: DC around in light green (12)

Finish off and stuff lightly, too much may make the leg too stiff to bend

Arm

In Skin Color

Row 1: 4 sc in magic ring (4)

Row 2: *inc* all around (8)

Row 3: *inc, sc* all around (12)

Row 4-6: *sc* around (12)

Row 7: *dec, sc 1* around (8)

Row 8: Switch to white, *sc* around (8)

Row 9: In light green, *inc, sc 1* (12)

Row 10-13: *sc* around (12)

Row 14: *dec, sc 1* around (8)

Row 15-20: *sc* around (8)

Row 21: sc 1, trc in next 3 st, sc in rest st. (This makes the shoulder)

Finish off

Ears: (Make 2)

Row 4: *dec* around and finish off

Beard

In Orange

Row 1: ch 18, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc 4, dc 3, trc 3, dc 3, sc 4 and finish off

Hat

Row 1: In dark green, 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Row 2: *inc* all around (12)

Row 3: *inc, sc* around (18)

Row 4: *inc, sc 2* around (24)

Row 5: *inc, sc 3* around (30)

Row 6: *inc, sc 4* around (36)

Row 7: *sc* around in BLO (back loop only) (36)

Row 8-14: *sc* around (36)

Row 15-16: Switch to black, *sc* around (36)

Row 17: Switch to green, sc around in FLO (front loop only) (36)

Row 18: *Sc* around in BOTH loops (36)

Finish off and sew yellow buckle on

Nose

Row 1: In skin color ch 4, dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next 2 st.

Row 2: remove hook from working st, inset into first dc st, then also inset hook into working st loop, you now have 2 st on hook. Yarn over, pull through both loops on hook. Finish off and sew onto face.

  2. In the pattern there’s no place to tell you where to put the eyes on and there’s no pattern for the buckle
