These chocolate kisses are super easy to make and work up really quickly! Since they’re easy to make, they’re fun to make in a lot of different colors! Let’s get started.
Chocolate Kisses:
In Any Color
Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6) Round 2: *Inc, Sc in the next st* all around (9) Round 3-4: *Sc* all around (9) Round 5: *Inc, Sc in the next 2 st* all around (12) Round 6-7: *Sc* all around (12) Round 8: *Inc, Sc in the next 2 st* all around (16) Round 9: *Sc* all around (16) Round 10: *Inc, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (20) Round 11: *Inc, Sc in the next 4 st* all around (24) Round 12: *Inc, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (30) Round 13: *Inc, Sc in the next 4 st* all around (36) Round 14: *Sc* all around (36)
Now we will mark where to place safety eyes. Add a different colored stitch marker into the 15th and 18th stitch in Round 14. Later we will replace these markers with safety eyes. Round 15-18: *Sc* all around (36) Round 19: *Dec, Sc in the next 4 st* all around (30) Round 20: *Dec, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (24)
Add the eyes into the marked areas now. Stuff firmly now. Continue stuffing after each round. Round 21: Working in the BLO, (Back Loop Only), *Dec, Sc in the next 2 st* all around (18) Round 22: Working in BOTH loops, *Dec, Sc in the next st* all around (12) Round 23: *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the remaining stitches together and weave in ends. Cut any excess yarn.
Paper:
In White
Row 1: Ch 6. Sc in the 2nd Ch from the hook. Sc in the next 4 st (5) Row 2: Ch 1 and turn. Sc in the next 5 st (5)
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Pin the paper on as shown and sew on. Weave in ends, cutting any excess yarn.
