Mini Scrap Lobsters Amigurumi – Free Crochet Pattern

Supplies:
• Yarn 4/Medium Weight Yarn in…
Any color
•4mm Crochet Hook
•Tapestry needle
•Scissors
•Stuffing
•Hot glue gun
•6mm safety eyes

•Size from tip of claw to end of tail: 3 inches

These mini lobsters are very quick and easy to make! It may look like there are many legs to sew on, but there isn’t! I made it so the six small legs of the crab are all worked into one piece, making it so you have to sew on much less. In fact, I recommend using hot glue to attach the limbs. It goes much quicker and is easier!

Body:

In any color

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Sc* all around (6)
Round 3: *Inc, Sc in the next 2 st* all around (8)
Now we will mark where to place the eyes. Add a different colored eye stitch marker in the 1st and 4th stitch in Round 3. Do not move these eye stitch makers! You should still continue using your regular round stitch marker to mark each round.
Round 4: *Inc, Sc in the next 3 st* all around (10)
Round 5: *Sc* all around (10)
Round 6: Sc in the next 2 st. Working in the BLO, Sc in the next 5 st. Working in BOTH loops, Sc in the next 3 st (10)
Round 7: *Inc, Sc in the next 4 st* all around (12)
Round 8: Sc in the next 3 st. Working in the BLO, Sc in the next 7 st. Working in BOTH loops, Sc in the next 2 st (12)
Round 9: *Sc* all around (12)
Add the eyes in the marked areas now.
Round 10: Sc in the next 4 st. In the BLO, Sc in the next 6 st. In BOTH loops, Sc in the next 2 st (12) Stuff the body now.
Round 11: *Dec, Sc in the next st* all around (8)
Stuff the body again. Do not stuff after this. We want the end of the tail to be flatter.
Round 12-13: *Sc* all around (8)
Round 14: Align the stitches together. Going through BOTH stitches at the same time, SlSt in the next 4 st together (4)
Row 15-16: Ch 1 and turn. Sc in the next 4 st (4)
Row 17: Ch 1 and turn. Repeat *Sc 4 times in the next st, SlSt in the next st* 2 times (10)
Finish off and weave in ends.

Arms:

In any color

Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: Repeat *SlSt in the next st. Ch 6, Sc in the 2nd Ch from the hook, Sc in the next 4 ch.* 3 times. SlSt in the next 2 st. Repeat *SlSt in the next st. Ch 6, Sc in the 2nd Ch from the hook, Sc in the next 4 ch.* 3 times. SlSt in the next 2 st, then finish off. Leave a long tail for sewing. Pin the arms on as shown and sew or hot glue on. Once done, weave in ends and cut any excess yarn.

Front Arms: (Make 2)

In Any Color

Row 1: Ch 9. SlSt in the 2nd Ch from the hook, SlSt in the next 4 st. Make 2 Dc into the same next st, Trc into the same st.
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Pin the arms on as shown. Sew or hot glue on. Once done, weave in ends and cut any excess yarn.
