•Tapestry needle

These stockings are super easy and quick to make! We start at the tip of the sock, then work our way up to the top of the sock.
We will work short rows to form the heel, which is easy 🙂 We will also create a small loop at the edge of the stocking. This can work as the hanging piece for the Christmas tree.
Stocking:
Start in any color, OR start in white for a white sock tip
Round 1: 6 Sc into a Magic Ring (6) Round 2: *Inc* all around (12) Round 3-5: *Sc* all around (12) Round 6: LOOSELY SlSt in the next 6 st (Pic 1). Change to white, Sc in the next 6 st (Pic 2, Stitch count: 6)
1. 2. Row 7: Ch 1 and turn, Sc in the next 5 st (Pic 3)
3. Row 8: Ch 1 and turn, Sc in the next 4 st (Pic 4-5)
4. 5. Round 9: Change to Main Color. Sc in the next white st that is on the left side (Pic 6-7), LOOSELY SlSt in the next 6 st (Pic 8), Sc in the next 5 st on the white of the sock (Pic 9-10) (12)
6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Round 10-14: *Sc* all around (Pic 11-12, Stitch count: 12)
11. 12. Round 15: Change to contrast color. Sc in the next 12 st (Pic 13). Ch 7 (Pic 14), SlSt in the same st (Pic 15-16) Finish off
